एक रिसर्च के अनुसार बताये गए परिणमो का कहना है की ये समस्या स्त्रियों को भी तकलीफ देती है और उन्हें भी इस समस्या से लड़ना पड़ता है! लगभग 40% महिलाएं भी अपनी इच्छानुसार चरम सुख प्राप्त नहीं कर पाती है, जबकि 3 फीसदी महिलाओं ने पुरुषो की तरह शीघ्रपतन की समस्या से जूझने का दावा किया है!
